Foreign Policy celebrates thirty with new opportunities for freelancers September 21, 2000 - Foreign Policy magazine is now 30 years old and is certainly not over the hill. Full-color, a new format and more issues per year add to the magazine's new look. And more columns and sections are cause for freelancers to celebrate. The magazine will now be published six times per year instead of the previous four and the format will be larger at 8.5 x 11 inches. New sections include Think Again, a "guerrilla attack on conventional Wisdom"; The FP Interview, conversations with noteworthy thinkers and practitioners on ideas and actions of global consequence; In Other Words, reviews of the world's most important foreign-language books; Global Newsstand, a survey of journals from different countries; and Net Effect, a showcase of some of the Web's most useful and unusual sites on international affairs.
