Broadband Week to cover high-speed, high-bandwidth communication networking

October 11, 2000 - Whether it's services offered by telephone service providers, cable operators, wireless or other delivery media, Broadband Week is addressing hardware and infrastructure issues as well as innovative products and services.

The September debut issue will be followed by monthly issues this year, and then transition into biweekly sometime in early 2001 and finally to a weekly schedule at the end of 2001. Content, which also covers business management, customer service, training, governmental and regulatory issues, standards development and operational issues will be overseen by editor Bill Menezes (bmenezes@cahners.com).

An initial controlled circulation of 55,000 was reported by owner Cahners Business Publications.
