New title marries science and pop culture

November 28, 2001 - Seed magazine is looking to "reinvent science as a lifestyle" according to editor Adam Bly. The audience includes "individuals who are looking for information from a lifestyle magazine by satisfying their curiosity for science and scientists who are looking for entertainment from a science magazine by satisfying other interests -- for example, politics, architecture, business and travel."

The bimonthly Montreal, Canada-based title, has a circulation of 100,000 (combined U.S. and Canada) with plans for growth of 250 percent over the next four years.
