Writing opportunities abound at American Profile

May 3, 2000 - Executive Editor Peter Fossel (pfossel@americanprofile.com) is very enthusiastic about hearing from freelance writers who have a feel for regional issues and stories.

50 percent of American Profile's content is geared towards regional stories with the editorial focus on small-town life and hometown roots with emphasis on lifestyles and "good news" types of articles.

Billed by some as an alternative to Parade and USA Weekend, American Profile is a newspaper magazine inserted weekly into 250 small community newspapers.

The title is currently being offered in the Southeast and Midwest, with a Northwest edition set debut sometime in fall and Central and West editions appearing in the early part of 2001. See our database for more information.
