Two new titles launch in the UK March 7, 2001 - Alodis magazine launched this week, targeting self-employed professionals. The title will profile people who work in different freelance occupations and is published jointly by John Brown Publishing and Mongrels World, both located in the UK. 210,000 will be initially printed. Premiering March 22 is a new technology magazine called Web User, published by IPC Media, a London-based company. The title, published every two weeks (a fortnight), will target the home net user with the intention of unraveling the complexities of the web through an intelligent, yet jargon-free, tone of voice. Editor Jim Lennox noted "this will be the first magazine truly written for the millions of ordinary people in the UK who regularly use the Internet." Contact Mr. Lennox at jim_lennox@ipcmedia.com. |
