Avant-garde writers should do well at Tank

March 28, 2001 - A new biannual style magazine is due to launch in May in the UK. Titled Tank, Ekow Eshun leads an independent group of journalists and staff to produce in-depth pieces of writing about fashion, art, music and pop culture.

The focus of the magazine is to be "ideas-led" rather than "consumer-led." The group as a whole was fed up reading boring magazines that tell people how to do things and what to buy. Writers beware!

There are two co-editors, Masoud Golsorkhi and Andreas Laeufer, under Mr. Eshun's guidance.
