New Red Cross publication launches

March 14, 2001 - The Humanitarian is a new quarterly magazine from the American Red Cross. The title hopes to help people improve their lives and inspire them to get involved.

Content will include

• Photo essays of recent newsworthy activities of the Red Cross
• Short profiles on the donors, volunteers and those they helped, written from a personal, emotionally appealing level
• Feature articles will center on homelessness and school violence on a national level
• Other topics include practical family issues and Red Cross history
