FamilyPC undergoes editorial changes in anticipation of September relaunch

June 11, 2001 - As FamilyPC moved from coverage on personal computers to focusing in on the Internet revolution, publisher Ziff Davis Media felt that it was time to change the magazine's title to more accurately reflect its editorial mission.

Family Internet Life will be divided into three sections:

Keeping Pace - news, trends and glimpses of digital life for parents
Features - includes columns such as Your Finances and Parental Guidance
Report Card - a revamped reviews section

Editor-in-chief Robin Raskin noted, "the magazine has evolved toward finding the proper balance between lifestyle and technology, with the filter being, 'What does a busy parent need to know, and how can technology help?' "

The revamped magazine will be available on newsstands September 18.
