June 25, 2001 - ELLEgirl.com and the print magazine are targeting teens with a "sophisticated and fun approach to style that celebrates an independent attitude with an international flair."

ELLEgirl.com will contain coverage in five areas: Global Girl, Shop Girl, Pretty Girl, Total Girl and Fan Girl. Each section will include exclusive online content according to editor-in-chief Brandon Holley. The U.S. print issue will debut on August 28, and be following by launches in Europe and Asia.
