Style 24-7 new fashion title for mass market

July 11, 2001 - American Media will be doing a test run of a new fashion title, Style 24-7, on September 6, just as Fashion Week begins in New York. But unlike the couture clothing featured in high-brow titles such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, Style 24-7 is being touted as targeting the average woman. Yes, the celebrity angle will still be represented.

Look for at least seven more weekly issues after the initial debut. Editorial content will be coming from Fashion Wire Daily's editor-n-chief, Brandusa Niro, who fills the same role for this title.

In question is the need for such a magazine and how it will define itself, as a solution for the average woman or as a vehicle for retailers like Kmart, Target and Wal-Mart, or both.
