Ideals celebrates faith under new ownership

July 24, 2000 - Ideals, a bimonthly title published in six seasonal and thematic issues (Easter, Mother's Day, Country, Friendship, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), is the seventh title under the Guideposts umbrella.

The Christian Judeo nondenominational magazine celebrates faith, family values, patriotism and living in small-town America or in the country. Although the magazine only has a circulation of 174,000, as compared to the 2.6 million paid circulation for Guideposts, it has "an important presence in major mass-market retail outlets," noted a Guideposts' spokesperson.

Currently, Ideals is an ad-free publication, but may soon follow the example set by Guidelines, which is due to accept ads starting with the January issue. Ideals will continue to be published in Nashville, TN. More information can be found in our database.
