eShopper decreases publication schedule

July 17, 2000 - Ziff Davis's eShopper, originally planned to be published quarterly, and perhaps six to ten times in 2001, is decreasing its publication schedule to two issues per year. The title is aimed at helping shoppers navigate where and how to buy what they need using Internet resources.

Two issues are out already, with the third slated to appear at the end of this year. It will be a stand-alone, but bundled with Yahoo! Internet Life.

A rumor had circulated that the title would fold altogether, based on what a spokesperson called bad timing in terms of ad revenue. "It's very possible that it will roll out again next year with increased frequency," the spokesperson said. Check our database, a helpful site for writers.
