Budget Travel aims for one million mark

July 12, 2000 - Budget Travel is planning to grow its audience by 286 percent over the next five years, from a current ratebase of 350,000.

The bimonthly title is convinced that its readers, who earn an average of $75,000 per year and are very educated, are extremely interested in saving money while they travel.

The publisher noted that the title's broad appeal to the American majority will support this growth effort. Perhaps we'll see an increased publication schedule from the current bimonthly issues.
