Chic Simple to launch at end of 2002

February 6, 2002 - Chic Simple, a new title covering apparel, home, lifestyle and travel, will be published twice in 2002 (October and December) and polybagged as an outsert with Hearst Magazine titles House Beautiful, Marie Claire, O, The Oprah Magazine, and Redbook.

The target audience is women 25- to 49-years-old with a 60,000+ household income. The initial print run will be a total of 400,000 copies.

Kim Johnson Gross and Jeff Stone, cofounders and editors of the 23 Chic Simple books, will be the editorial directors of the magazine.
