New entertainment business title launches

December 11, 2000 - Inside.com has launched a print sibling, Inside: The Business of Entertainment, Media & Technology in partnership with Standard Media International. The biweekly title, under the direction of editor-in-chief Richard Siklos, is by, for and about people in the entertainment and information industries

Coverage includes traditional media players such as conglomerates, broadcasters and publishers, but also key technology, telecommunications, wireless, broadband and start-up companies.

Sections include Front End (brief dispatches on people, companies, product and trends), The Business (more in-depth articles on the convergence of digital technology with entertainment and media businesses), and Back End (practical information and advice for professionals).

Circulation is predicted to move from an initial 75,000 to 100,000 at the end of the first year and 350,000 by the end of the fourth year. Contact the editor at rsiklos@inside.com.
