Editorial changes at Inc magazine open up more writing categories

August 29, 2001 - The tone and flavor of the newly revamped Inc magazine is all about "reflecting the energy of today's entrepreneurs who are the driving force of the most dynamic sector of the nation's economy," said George Gendron, editor-in-chief of the title.

As a result, new sections and departments have been added.

Incubator: new technologies, products, services and business models changing the entrepreneurial landscape. Departments include 60-second Business Plan, Hot Type, Main Street and Growth Markets.

The Whole New Business Catalogue: the best practices of growth companies spotlighted. Departments include Best of the Net, The Main Event, Capital Finance, E-Strategies and Cultures.

The Inc Life: lifestyle section of entrepreneurs and how business ownership impacts their lives. Departments include Fit, Returns, Road Trip, A Space of One's Own and My Secret Life.
