R660 new Generation Y title with lots of short articles
Following the path of newly launched MH-18 and Stance, R660 wants to reach 14- to 20-year-old males with action sports coverage and the accompanying lifestyle. The title, a collaboration between Hearst Magazines and Rule 660 Communications, will feature editorial content "similar to Maxim, but without all the sex," said an R660 spokesperson. The format is short articles driven by sports and augmented with music and fashion information. The launch of this bimonthly title is scheduled for November, with an initial circulation of 750,000.
