SI for Kids began publishing Teen Select on a bimonthly basis in February 2002. Teen Select features a wider scope of sports coverage with more in-depth reporting and addresses older readers' interests in improving their own athletic performance, getting even more inside information about their favorite sports, and finding out about the latest in sports gear, electronic gadgets and clothes.
