Ad-less car rating magazine rolls onto newsstands

April 5, 2004 - This week, the first issue of IntelliChoice, the magazine, hits the newsstands.

Published by Primedia, the 178-page publication has a $7.95 cover price - and no advertising. Its content will primarily be ratings and consumer tips and plans are to print the magazine four times in 2004 with 136,000 copies of the first issue.

It will enter a crowded field as it will compete with similar magazines from Consumer Reports and J.D. Power and Associates.
